The top-level overview screen can be used to see key information on all assets, which can be filtered down to assets assigned to a specific site or staff member, as well as filtering the type of assets with a particular status, for example those that are being repaired or beyond repair. This can give the company a good indication of where and how all assets are being used, as well as how many are currently in stock.
Simple steps to order assets and monitor previous asset usage
Outstanding orders can be assessed, reviewed and updated with their current status in order for a company to always keep track of new order requests. New orders can be submitted for a particular asset by a site and stipulate who these will be assigned to. Asset orders that have been processed can be updated by the warehouse that those assets are being sent from and can be updated by both the warehouse and the site receiving them. This way, the company can always keep track of where an asset is in the order process and, if an asset goes missing, staff can identify at which stage in the process this took place.
Webx HR’s asset manager also provides multiple reports via the Report Suite which can be downloaded with sufficient staff permissions. These can be used to review all the history of each asset including who they were used by. It can also give a full list of assets which can be filtered by the staff member issued that asset or the location of the asset.
